Get to know Family Physician Dr. Vachik Shahnazarian, who serves patients in Glendale, California.

A caring and knowledgeable family physician, Dr. Shahnazarian is affiliated with ComCare Primary Medical Group, seeing patients at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. His areas of clinical interest include anti-aging medicine, laser surgery & cosmetic laser surgery, and disorders of the ear, nose and throat.

Completing his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Shahnazarian relocated to Italy. There, he earned his medical degree at the University of Padua School of Medicine and Surgery, and pursued his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Verona. Returning to the United States, he completed a residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

In order to stay up to date in his field, Dr. Shahnazarian remains an active member of the Armenian American Medical Society.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

On a more personal note, Dr. Shahnazarian enjoys traveling, swimming, snowboarding, and playing ping pong. He is fluent in many languages, including English, Farsi, Armenian, Spanish, Italian, and French.
