Lumps could be a lot of things. If they are coming from the bone, they are most likely toris or torus, which is just excessive normal bone tissue, considered normal bone. They need to be removed o my if they are on the way for dentures or having constant trauma while eating because of their size. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Troconis completed his full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery training program at the University of Puerto Rico. After finishing his residency, he joined the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. As the only Level 1 Trauma Center of Northeast Ohio at the time, he gained extensive experience clinically and academically.
After several years, Dr. Troconis decided to take an opportunity to transition to private practice in Austin, Texas in order to serve the local community.
Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
