Recognized as a caring and compassionate dentist, Dr. Badea works with patients at her private practice in Austin, Texas. She approaches each patient encounter with the warmth and care of a family member, providing comprehensive care that goes beyond the technical aspects of dentistry.

Born and raised in Romania, she laid the foundation for her career through rigorous undergraduate and post-graduate studies in her homeland. However, it was her pursuit of knowledge and skill that led her to the United States, where she attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2010. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; she further honed her expertise through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the same institution, solidifying her status as a distinguished practitioner in her field.

Dr. Badea’s commitment to professional development and excellence is exemplified by her attainment of the AGD Fellowship Award in 2016, a distinction achieved by only a select few dentists nationwide. Her commitment to mentorship and education is evident through her various roles, including serving as the President of the Greater Austin AGD, directing the New Dentist Study Club, and advocating for dental education as a board member of the Texas AGD Membership Committee. Additionally, she generously dedicates her time to mentoring aspiring dental professionals at Westlake High School, nurturing the next generation of talent in the field.

Beyond her clinical prowess, she is celebrated for her leadership and service within the dental community. Her outstanding contributions were recognized by the Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry in Austin, where she was honored as the New Dentist of the Year in 2017, followed by the prestigious Dentist of the Year award in 2023—a testament to her enduring impact and leadership within the profession.

Despite her demanding schedule, Dr. Badea remains deeply connected to her community and values the importance of giving back, actively engaging with organizations such as the Junior League in San Antonio and Austin.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Badea finds joy in exploring the arts, indulging her passion for theater, live music, and the vibrant cultural tapestry of the world. An avid adventurer, she embraces the great outdoors, whether it’s hiking in the majestic Andes or Alps or marveling at the beauty of the Northern Lights in Alaska. Speaking multiple languages, she is fluent in English, Romanian, French, Spanish, and even Texan.
