He is a member of the American Medical Association, which allows him to remain at the forefront of his challenging field. He also holds board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). After earning his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1985, Dr. Zmolek went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
