Prior to his current endeavors, Dr. Zmolek served as attending physician in the Emergency Department of Crouse Hospital from 1988 to 1996, as well as in private practice with CNY Internists from 1996 to 2014.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, which allows him to remain at the forefront of his challenging field. He also holds board certification in internal medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1985, Dr. Zmolek went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
