Born in Greece, Dr. Chilimigras became a war orphan when both of his parents were killed in the aftermath of WWII. When he was approximately 11 years old, he sailed to America with his two brothers and settled in Midland, Michigan. At an early age, he supported himself by helping to build houses and, later on, by running his own ice cream business in Battle Creek. He then paid his way through both undergraduate and graduate dentistry degrees at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Chilimigras moved to Battle Creek to start his practice.
Offering quality dental care with integrity and compassion, he is a member of the following professional organizations: the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the South Western District Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, the International Orthodontic Association, the TMJ Institute of America, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Happily married to his college sweetheart, Dr. Chilimigras and his wife have four children: three daughters and one son. Two of their children graduated from the University of Michigan and two graduated from Michigan State University. All of Dr. Chilimigras’ children are married, and the doctor now has thirteen grandchildren.
