Dr. Richard L. Glick

Dr. Glick is a periodontist serving Johnston and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Dental Arts Group – a practice offering offer CEREC® single-visit restorations, Invisalign®, a variety of in-office and take-home whitening options, cosmetic and periodontal procedures, and mini-implants.

Dr. Glick is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. After graduation, he spent two years in the USAF as a dentist in the United States and overseas. In 1975, Dr. Glick completed his postdoctoral training in periodontics, and then completed his implant residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1987.

Dr. Glick is a former member of the Rhode Island Board of Dental Examiners. The RIBDE ensures that all dentists and dental hygienists practicing in Rhode Island meet the requirements for licensure and comply with the applicable conditions and regulations of the law.

A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. As a periodontist, Dr. Glick has expertise in the treatment of oral inflammation and often treats problematic periodontal cases, such as those with severe gum disease or a complex medical history. Some treatments that he provides are scaling and root planing and root surface debridement.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Glick has successfully placed over several thousand implants.
