Get to know Oncologist Dr. Tasneem Rashid, who serves patients in Union, New Jersey. 

Dr. Rashid is an oncologist serving Union and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with RWJ Barnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated health care delivery system, providing treatment and services to more than three million patients each year. Throughout RWJ Barnabas Health, their dedicated physicians, nurses, and health professionals are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and health education to the community and region. 

In regards to her education, Dr. Rashid earned her Medical Degree from Gandhi Medical School in 1980. She went on to complete an internship at Mountainside Hospital in 1988, a residency at the same venue in 1990, and a fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1995. 

Additionally, Dr. Rashid is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
