Get to know Ophthalmologist Dr. Yufei Tu, who serves patients in Flushing, New York.

A prominent ophthalmologist, Dr. Tu works with patients at his private practice in Flushing, New York. He has been in practice for 14 years, treating patients with various general ocular disorders as well as mild to severe stage glaucoma as a specialist utilizing modern medical, laser and surgical procedures and therapies. He is also a highly skillful eye surgeon in cataract and refractive surgeries for presbyopia, and glaucoma procedures in both conventional and innovative minimal-invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).

In regards to his educational background, he received his medical degree from the prestigious Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency at Rutgers University and 2 fellowships in glaucoma and ocular pathology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard Medical School. He is also a stellar scholar and has been published extensively and participated in numerous clinical trials in various areas of ophthalmology.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Medical Association (FAMA), the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.

Maintaining membership status, Dr. Tu is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
