Dr. German is a board-certified infectious disease specialist who is affiliated with St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. St. Luke’s is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare provider committed to improving the quality of life for patients and the community. Dr. German earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then went on to complete his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and his fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine.

Infectious disease, also known as infectiology, is a medical specialty dealing with the diagnosis, control, and treatment of infections. An infectious disease specialist’s practice may consist largely of managing hospital-acquired infections or it may be out-patient based. Dr. German works closely with his patients to ensure a close partnership throughout care and treatment.
