Dr. Mehring currently serves patients at Nephrology Associates in Delaware. Established in 1974, Nephrology Associates has earned the trust of patients and the respect of the local medical community for over four decades. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Mehring completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Christiana Care Health Services. Driven to further her expertise and knowledge, she obtained her Nephrology Fellowship at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2008. She became board certified in Internal Medicine in 2006 and certified in 2008. She is an Associate Member of the American College of Physicians, member of the Medical Society of Delaware, member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine, member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Renal Physicians Association allowing her to stay up to date on any advances that occur in her medical specialty.
Dr. Mehring has received several awards for her outstanding performance as a Nephrologist which include; Physician Customer Service Award from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2007 and 2008, the Scholarship for Academic Excellence from the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association Foundation from 2000-2001, the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society from 1994-1999, Cum Laude Graduate from Bloomsburg University in 1996, and obtained an Honors and Scholars Scholarship from 1995-1996.
