A devoted obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Kothari is an attending physician at SMG Women’s Health Associates, seeing patients at their offices in Tempe, and Mesa, Arizona. She thoroughly enjoys being part of her patients’ journey of bringing new life into this world and is committed to providing the best care possible. Her motto is to take care of her patients as she would for her family members.
Her special interests include managing complex gynecological problems through minimally invasive surgeries and in-office procedures for abnormal uterine bleeding and abnormal pap smear. She also has a strong interest in managing uterine fibroids with different modalities. She is proficient in managing both high and low risk pregnancies. Dr. Kothari is a certified da Vinci® Robotic surgeon with extensive experience in complex laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Kothari has been performing Robotic surgeries since 2009.
An Indian native, Dr. Kothari graduated with her medical degree at the prestigious Sawai Man Singh Medical College in Jaipur, India. After relocating to the United States, she went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit MI where she had extensive training with some of the best doctors in the field in dealing with all types of pathologies.
