How long does vein ablation take to heal?
I'm not sure what you mean by “heal.” The puncture site will close in about 48 hours. The saphenous vein is closed immediately. Inflammatory changes in the vein can cause pain for up to 3 weeks for a radio frequency ablation, and longer for a laser ablation. It takes about 4 weeks for associated varicose veins to resolve. Most procedures to treat varicose veins are minimally invasive and are performed under local anesthesia in an office setting. Rarely does treatment require general anesthesia and a hospital setting. READ MORE

Popliteal artery aneurysms are dangerous. Most should be fixed expeditiously, especially if there is a clot inside them (which can be seen on imaging). Ultrasound or CT scan. It should be fixed.
