Write ReviewPatient Experience with Dr. Andy
- Person
I made an appointment with Dr. Andy in February for an annual physical as a new patient. Instead of performing a physical at this visit, she reviewed my medical history and stated we would do the actual physical another day. However, I was never told that this would affect the billing of the visit and she did not tell me this until we were almost out of time anyway. I later received a bill for over $300 after insurance. I assumed this had been a simple mistake, so I called the office for an explanation. I ended up calling several times to try to figure it out, and every time the person I spoke to was extremely rude and said I was an idiot because they obviously needed to charge me more because we discussed my epilepsy. The only discussion was confirming that I have it and that I am on medication from a neurologist. I have tried multiple ways to work something out with them, but at every turn they either ignore me or give a different excuse as to why the bill was that high.
