An excellent general surgeon, Dr. Nguyen is currently practicing within her private practice in Nevada. A physician and individual of the highest caliber, she is passionate about providing excellent care for her patients.
Educated in the United States, Dr. Nguyen received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was awarded membership in the National Osteopathic Honor Society for her academic achievements. She continued her training in a competitive surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens.
With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Since completion of her general surgery training, she has worked as a general surgeon for the United States Navy, which has allowed her to further flourish and mature as a highly competent and skilled general surgeon. She provided direct health services support to marine expeditionary forces in Japan and other areas of the Pacific region.
Stateside, Dr. Nguyen provided excellent surgical services to active duty and their families, as well as Wounded Warriors and retirees. In addition, she had the unique experience of serving as the Ship’s Surgeon on the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.
