Dr. Picone is a board-certified neurologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of multiple sclerosis. She is widely recognized for her clinical expertise, research acumen, and comprehensive approach to patient care. She is currently the Medical Director of Neurology at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey – a title which she has held since 1993. Holy Name Medical Center is a comprehensive 361-bed acute care facility, which provides technologically advanced, compassionate and personalized care across a continuum that encompasses education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and wellness maintenance.
Dr. Picone also serves as an Assistant Professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – a division of Touro College. Dr. Picone earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed her internship at Morristown Memorial Hospital, followed by her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She also completed her fellowship in neurophysiology at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
