Dr. Kourouyan is an ophthalmologist at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, a 408-bed hospital in Los Angeles, California. He diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, or trauma of the eye such as glaucoma or cataracts.

Back in the early days of his academic career, he graduated with his medical degree from the UCSF School of Medicine. He then went on to perform his internship at UCLA- San Fernando Valley Program, and his residency at Doheny Eye Institute.

Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Kourouyan is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine and surgery, which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. Ophthalmologists are experts in the diseases, functions, and anatomy of the eye.
