Dr. Frank LaVora is a podiatrist practicing in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. LaVora is a podiatrist specializing in the medical and surgical management of treatment of the foot. Dr. LaVora has always believed in a "team" approach to patient care partnering with a patient's primary care physician and numerous specialists to provide the highest quality and innovative care. Dr. LaVora believes that in many instances foot pain is a symptom of another underlying issue such as diabetes, cardiac disease, arthritis, and other conditions.
Being a native of Milwaukee, Dr. LaVora has practiced podiatry for over 33 years and has been selected as one of Milwaukee Magazine's Top Doctors on several occassions. Dr. LaVora practiced in an independent physician group in which he became the Vice President and later the President of the 125 multispecialty physician group. In 2014, Dr. LaVora was promoted to become the Chief Medical Officer for the Greater Milwaukee Market for Aurora Health Care. This role oversees the five metro hospitals and supports a little over 1200 physicians and 600 advanced practice clinicians. In 2016, Dr. LaVora completed his executive master's degree in health care administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has held numerous roles in addition to his market CMO role such as, interim hospital president at Aurora South Shore Hospital, interim hospital CMO at Aurora West Allis Medical Center, interim CMO South Shore Hospital, and interim CMO at Aurora's St. Luke's Medical Center.
