Dr. Ludwig is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at OrthoGeorgia, seeing patients at the offices in Warner Robins, Georgia. Professionally, Dr. Ludwig’s hospital and surgery center affiliations include Perry Hospital, Houston Medical Center, and OrthoGeorgia Outpatient Surgery Center. He covers sporting events and provides athletic screenings for high school and college athletes, and is the team physician for Mercer University’s baseball program, Middle Georgia State University, and Fort Valley State University.

Back in 2004, Dr. Ludwig graduated with his medical degree from Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. He then completed a residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics – Madison, and a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute under the direction of Dr. James Andrews.
Certified to perform Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery (MAKO) for resurfacing of the knee, he is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.
Throughout his line of work, Dr. Ludwig has authored multiple orthopaedic book chapters and medical journal articles. He also enjoys presenting at medical conferences.
