Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1996, and completed his residency in general surgery at the Ohio State University Hospital in 2001. Finally, he completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at the same educational venue in 2002.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in vascular surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS).
