Regarding her educational background, Dr. Eid earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut Medical School in 1999, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same educational venue. After relocating to the United States, she completed an additional residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Riverside Regional Medical Center in 2007.

She believes her exposure to different cultures during her training in Beirut, Lebanon and the United States has reinforced her belief that providing individualized care to every patient improves patient satisfaction and therefore, compliance with the plan of care.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). On a more personal note, Dr. Eid moved with her husband to Lafayette in August of 2010. She enjoys Mediterranean cooking as well as entertaining and spending time with her husband and sons, Zane and Ali.
