Dr. Fernandes is a board-certified anesthesiologist, who has been in practice with Anesthesia Associates in Spokane, Washington since 2010.

After earning his undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in 1995, Dr. Fernandes went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2000. He then proceeded to complete his internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by his residency in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Following his education, he became board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
