Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Ciccone earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in urology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor is board-certified in urology through the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, and working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
In his professional experience, he was the President of the New Jersey Urology Society and is a member of the Medical Board. He has served on the Board of Governors at Georgetown University. He is also a past President of the Medical Staff at Clara Maass Medical Center, and was previously the Chairman of the Division of Urology.
Dr Ciccone is currently the Board Chair of The Stone Center of NJ as well as Treasurer of NJPCAC.
Urology, also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary-tract system and the male reproductive organs. Urologists specialize in diseases of the urinary tract and the male reproductive system.
