Born in Tiffin, Ohio, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati in 1982. He then entered Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and graduated with his medical degree in 1988.
To further his education, Dr. Panuto served an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Ohio. He then did his fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Cleveland Clinic.
Committed to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, which establishes qualifications and examines physicians to become recognized specialists in allergy and immunology. It is a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.
Furthermore, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
