A competent obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Patel serves the community of Tampa at Florida Medical Clinic. He is committed to a higher level of medicine, which is individualized for each of his patients. A native to the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Patel is a proud graduate of Gaither High School and the University of South Florida. After completing his undergraduate education, he relocated to the Netherlands and graduated with his medical degree from the Saba University School of Medicine. He then returned to the United States and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University Hospital, followed by an additional residency at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
