After completing his undergraduate education, he relocated to the Netherlands and graduated with his medical degree from the Saba University School of Medicine. He then returned to the United States and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University Hospital, followed by an additional residency at the Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
An authority in his field, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
