The team of providers in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provide care and advice for women from puberty through adulthood. In addition to providing physical examinations, breast examinations, and cervical cancer screenings, the specialists help patients with family planning decisions, birth options, and care for them throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. They also have specially trained and registered diagnostic medical sonographers on staff to perform ultrasound evaluations for infertility assessments, early pregnancy confirmations, or to visualize pelvic structures or developing pregnancies. Dr. Khan is also surgically trained in performing cesarean sections, hysterectomies and all general gynecology surgeries.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Khan graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University-Chicago. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Furthering her education, she performed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Garden City Hospital, and did a Galloway fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Khan also completed residency in Family Medicine at Carle Foundation Hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine and is currently Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is planning on taking her oral boards exam in 2-3 years to be board certified in OBGYN.
In January of 2023, Dr. Khan opened GlamDrChicago Medspa, with a mission to, “Make Chicago feel more beautiful one person at a time.” She is certified and skilled in neurotoxins to prevent and reduce wrinkles, does facial fillers to add volume and rejuvenate areas such as the lips and cheeks, provides anti-aging IV therapy and immunity boost IV therapy, as well as offers a comprehensive weight loss program with semaglutide injections.
