Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Adam is an accomplished cardiologist with over five decades of experience in his field. He is affiliated with several hospitals within the state of Florida, including Hillcrest Hospital, Euclid Hospital, NCH Baker Hospital Downtown, and North Naples Hospital.
Prior to his current endeavors, he owned a private practice – Mahmoud Adam, MD, PA – where he tended to patients in Naples, Florida.
A 1963 graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Damascus University in Syria, Dr. Adam relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he served his residencies at Huron Road Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital, followed by his fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
