Rheumatologist | Rheumatology
160 East72nd street New York NY, 10021About
As an independently practicing rheumatologist and internist with more than 30 years of clinical experience in the heart of New York City, my practice is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with systemic, autoimmune, and inflammatory rheumatic diseases. I am committed to bringing high-quality and cost-effective care to my patients. My solo practice utilizes contemporary population and individual disease management strategies to ensure the most optimal outcomes for all patients while treating each and every patient as a unique individual. This is achieved through frequent monitoring and reevaluation of treatment throughout the course of the patient's illness using the most up–to–date diagnostic testing and advanced medical treatments. Treatment strategies take into account the cost-effectiveness of testing and the use of treat–to–target strategies to attain the best possible outcome for each patient. Optimization of the basic health and nutritional status of each individual patient is a primary goal in order to maximize the effectiveness of individual therapies. Patient participation in all diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making is paramount in my practice; this maximizes both trust and understanding in the mode of therapy and treatment compliance. My overall goal is to achieve the eradication of disease in each individual patient with the return of maximal physical function and minimization of chronic residual damage or disability.
