Dr. Sobia Ali was raised in Chicago, IL. She completed her fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She remained there as an Associate Professor before moving to Tampa, FL. with her husband and three children. In her spare time, Dr. Ali enjoys playing chess, reading, and spending time with her family. She frequently volunteers at the Red Crescent Clinic, which provides free health care to low-income families. Dr. Sobia Ali is a published researcher and is actively involved in teaching and education in her field.

 

Dr. Sobia Ali has been a practicing physician since 2009. Her main areas of interest include abdominal pain, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Hepatitis B & C.
