Witnessing Tragedy to Triumph: A Story of Hope and Healing
An established cardiologist, Dr. Trad sees patients at the Stillwater Medical Center Cardiology Clinic in Oklahoma.
Born amidst the chaos of civil war in Beirut, Lebanon, he experienced the harsh realities of conflict at a young age. Determined to bring light to the darkness of war, his journey led him to the United States where he embarked on a path of healing and humanitarianism.
Starting his academic pursuits at a tender age at Oklahoma State University, Dr. Trad's dedication and passion for saving lives propelled him to excel in his studies. With a 16-year legacy under the OSU system, he obtained his undergraduate degree in biochemistry, a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and a medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He further honed his skills through a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in invasive cardiology at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, as well as an internship at a Harvard-affiliated medical center in Boston.
Following his graduation, Dr. Trad embarked on a life-changing medical mission trip to Haiti, where his eyes were opened to the urgent need for humanitarian aid. Moved by the plight of refugees at the Lebanese-Syrian border, he founded CURA for the World, a beacon of hope in the fight against poverty and suffering. Through this organization, he has touched hundreds of lives, from war-torn regions to impoverished communities in Uganda, spreading love and healing wherever he goes.
Beyond his medical expertise, he is a multifaceted individual with a deep appreciation for art, poetry, and global exploration. His tireless dedication to serving humanity knows no bounds, as he continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need around the world. He attributes his success to his mother, who has been the driving force in both his education and success.
