About

I have over 20 years of managed care experience in providing guidance and consultative services of Utilization Management (UM) and Care Management (CM) and staff management on issues relating to clinical services, case management, condition management, population health, health equity and health risk assessments.

I am a physician executive in a managed care organization who puts the patient first. To that goal, I have founded a nonprofit organization EQUITAAS with the mission of ADVANCING HEALTH EQUITY. Health equity is when everyone has a fair opportunity to achieve their best health. This is regardless of factors like race, literacy, preferred language and socioeconomic status- including food insecurity. Advancing health equity requires improvement to access to the right care and utilize technology to fulfill that improvement.

I want to advance health equity with my nonprofit. EQUITAAS holds six of my patents. My intent is to create a suite of mobile apps. Each app leverages AI and addresses the chasms in HEALTH EQUITY. Each app promotes EQUITAAS' mission statement and ADVANCES HEALTH EQUITY.
