At the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Ingber earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 1971. He also worked on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania from 1971 – 1994.
For his unsurpassed skills and expertise, he was appointed as the Director of University of Pennsylvania Extramural Department of Continuing Dental Education Program for the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area and was the Editor of the Journal of the District of Columbia Dental Society. Currently, he serves as the Director of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) Study Club in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area.
Among his dental affiliations, he is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (Fellow), the Academy of General Dentistry (Fellow), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association (Associate Lifetime Member), and the International Team for Implantology (Fellow).
Striving to achieve optimal results for a healthier mouth, Dr. Ingber attributes his success to his honesty, thoroughness, and compassion. His cosmetic dentistry skills have gained recognition in Hollywood, including being asked by one of the best Film Directors to create cosmetic effects for an Oscar-winning leading actor.
In addition to his extensive cosmetic dentistry background, he is a pioneer in dental implant treatment, one of the most exciting developments in modern dentistry. Back in 1984, he was one of the first dentists in the United States to learn and master implant techniques.
