Dr. Ostergren is a general dentist who is currently serving patients at his own private practice - The Downtown Seattle Dentist - located in Seattle, Washington. The practice offers all of the essential services (crowns, bridges, root canals, dental implants, and more) that patients require to ensure their mouths are kept as healthy as possible. The mission of The Downtown Seattle Dentist is to ensure that the dental health of all individuals in downtown Seattle is preserved and protected.

Dr. Ostergren believes every patient is unique and enjoys working with his patients to achieve the treatment plan that best fits their needs. He is committed to his patients’ well-being and devotes his spare time to taking continuing education courses to further his skills and knowledge.

Dr. Ostergren is a Washington State native, originating from Longview, WA. His formal education brought him to Seattle, where he graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Thereafter, he continued his dental education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general dentist, Dr. Ostergren diagnoses and treats dental issues, as well as helps patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. He believes dentistry is a lifelong commitment to learning and enjoys the challenge of staying on top of current research and techniques in his field.

What Dr. Ostergren loves most about dentistry is that it allows him to be a scientist, engineer, artist, educator, and clinician - all in the same profession.

In his spare time, Dr. Ostergren enjoys spending time with his wife and their crazy dog. Together, they appreciate the outdoors and the wildlife by adventuring on hikes, going on fishing trips, and by playing golf.
