Get to know Family Physician Dr. Eileen Chang, who serves patients in Chandler, Arizona.

Specializing in the needs of the entire family, Dr. Chang is a considerate family physician who joined East Valley Family Physicians in Chandler, Arizona in 2016. She strives to provide compassion care and a listening ear to every patient for better healthcare.

Following the completion of her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Chang went on to serve her residency in family medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Before long, she became board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

In her career as a doctor, Dr. Chang has enjoyed providing compassionate care to patients in different healthcare settings, from the home to the hospital, from urgent care to a community health center. Many of these different experiences have been as much an education as formal medical training. 

Professionally, she is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in her local area, including VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Banner Desert Medical Center, and Banner Gateway Medical Center. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

When Dr. Chang is not in the office, she is with her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
