Get to know Internist Dr. Rashin Gholamrezaee, who serves patients in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A reputable internist, Dr. Gholamrezaee specializes in the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients. She is currently a part of the hospitalist team at Intermountain Healthcare in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Intermountain Healthcare, formerly HealthCare Partners Nevada, offers an assortment of inpatient management services, including a hospitalist program. The hospitalists oversee collaboration with case managers, communication with primary care providers and specialists, as well as communication with patients and their families.

Pertaining to her academic background, Dr. Gholamrezaee graduated with her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Islamic Azad University, Tehran Medical Branch in Iran in 2009. She then relocated to the United States to further her training, completing her residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City, New York.

Following her education, she attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In her professional experience, Dr. Gholamrezaee is affiliated with numerous hospitals and medical centers across Nevada, including Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Rose de Lima Campus; Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican, San Martin Campus; Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus; Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center; and Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center.

Hospital medicine is a medical specialty that exists in some countries as a branch of internal or family medicine, dealing with the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients. Physicians whose primary professional focus is caring for hospitalized patients only while they are in the hospital are called hospitalists.

On a more personal note, Dr. Gholamrezaee speaks several languages, including English and Farsi.
