Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Vineel Sompalli, who serves patients in Orlando, Florida. 

Dr. Sompalli is a cardiologist serving Orlando and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Orlando Heart & Vascular Center, a practice dedicated to helping patients struggling with heart diseases or abnormalities that negatively impact the heart’s ability to function correctly. In regards to his education, Dr. Sompalli earned his Medical Degree from Osmania Medical College. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Michigan State University and Cook County Hospital Rush Presbyterian Center and an interventional cardiology fellowship with the Maimonides Medical Center. 

Dr. Sompalli maintains a professional membership with the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The ACC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cardiovascular patients through continuous quality improvement, patient-centered care, payment innovation, and professionalism. 

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart as well as some parts of the circulatory system. As a cardiologist, Dr. Sompalli specializes in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases or conditions of the heart, blood vessels, and the cardiovascular system. These conditions include heart attacks, heart murmurs, coronary heart disease, and hypertension. 

With over 20 years of practice in the field, Dr. Sompalli has treated thousands of patients and performed over 10,000 coronary and peripheral vascular procedures.
