Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Kaleem Malik, who serves patients in Chicago, Illinois.

A skilled emergency physician, Dr. Malik is the Chief Executive Officer of Trilab Health in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a practicing emergency staff physician with the DuPage Medical Group, and serves as the US Course Director and Faculty for the Medical & Disaster Response Training courses conducted by Humanity First globally.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Malik completed his undergraduate and postgraduate education at Georgetown University, and graduated with his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, and his residency in emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM), the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Malik has been the recipient of the Disaster Services Hero Award by the Red Cross Class of Heroes in 2020.

On a more personal note, he and his wife have three teenage daughters who occasionally accompany him on medical missions and training programs.
