Born and raised in Martin, Tennessee, she completed her undergraduate education at the East Tennessee State University in 2006, and graduated with her medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2010. After relocating to Georgia, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Memorial Health – Mercer College of Medicine in 2014.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
