Inspired by the influence of her parents, two emergency room doctors, Dr. Herold chose to pursue a career in the medical field in order to provide patients with proper guidance and healing.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Anderson University in South Carolina, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2014. Upon completing her medical requirements, she excelled at an internship and residency in family medicine at the Anmed Health Family Medicine in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
In the pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Herold holds membership status with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association, and also volunteers in the children’s ministry at Hope Fellowship.
