Get to know Dentist Dr. Regina Gumucio, who serves patients in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Serving patients from toddlers to seniors, Dr. Gumucio is a skilled dentist at Advanced Dental of Woodbridge in New Jersey. She diagnoses and treats problems relating to the teeth, gums, and related parts of the mouth.

Back in the early days of her academic career, she graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 1984.

Among her professional dental affiliations, Dr. Gumucio is an active member of the Middlesex County Dental Society, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

In honor of her clinical expertise, Dr. Gumucio is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2015). The honor is bestowed to physicians who have received near perfect scores, as voted by patients.
