Get to know Urogynecologist Dr. Yarini Quezada, who serves patients in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Quezada is a well-versed urogynecologist who provides patients with the kind of bedside manner they truly love, along with the real-world expertise they need, at Spring Valley Women’s Health Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. She specializes in treating a wide range of female pelvic ailments such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, voiding difficulties, interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain, mesh erosions, and fistula repairs. She is also highly regarded in vaginal reconstruction surgery, as well as non-surgical treatments for these conditions. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is double board-certified in urogynecology and obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

In her current capacity, Dr. Quezada is also a part of the team of experts at Las Vegas Minimally Invasive Surgery and Women’s Pelvic Health Center (LVMIS-WPHC). It is the region’s leading provider of advanced surgical techniques that involve less scarring, faster recoveries, and increased efficacy. LVMIS-WPHC is recognized as a center of excellence in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic sacrocolpopexy. 

Throughout her academic career, she received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Upon graduation, she trained at some of the most acclaimed schools across the country, including NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

A life-long learner, Dr. Quezada continues to seek out the most effective and least invasive treatment options and has done extensive training with state-of-the-art technology, including InterStim and the MonaLisa Touch laser. Outside of the clinic, she has worked to advance medical science even further. Her research in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery has been published nationally and presented at multiple medical conferences.

Urogynecology or urogynaecology is a surgical subspecialty of urology and gynecology. A urogynecologist is a surgeon who has specialized in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders. Some of the common problems treated by such a professional include urinary incontinence or leakage, pelvic organ prolapse (dropping of the vagina, uterus, cystocele, rectocele), and overactive bladder.
