Dr. Afgan is an experienced dentist serving the community of Baltimore, Maryland at Baltimore City Dental Group.
Academically, he attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in German Language and Literature. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, including a one year clerkship in Oral Surgery as well as a one year clerkship in Pediatric Dentistry, where he received advanced training in the respective subjects.
Since graduating from dental school he has been in private practice and has been attending continuing education courses to stay up to date on the newest advances in the field of dentistry. He also serves as Dean’s faculty at the University of Maryland as a Clinical Instructor to predoctoral dental students.
On a professional level, Dr. Afgan is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
