Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Muhammad Asad Khan Suri, who serves patients in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

With clinical experience spanning over two decades, Dr. Suri is a board-certified psychiatrist who has developed special interest in the evaluation and treatment of mood disorders, as well as psychosomatic medicine and addiction disorders. Currently, he practices at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and also covers Geriartric behavioral Health unit at Monticello, Centracare Hospital. 

A graduate of Army Medical School, Pakistan, Dr. Suri completed his residency in psychiatry at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Before long, he became board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Attributing his success to his passion for helping patients, the doctor is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. In his free time, Dr. Suri enjoys flying airplanes, reading, and traveling with his family. He is a member of the Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association.
