Get to know Family Physician Dr. Hasibul H. Khan, who serves patients throughout the State of Florida.

Dr. Khan is a qualified and compassionate medical professional with experience in all aspects of family and community healthcare including inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, RE, and urgent care. 

Serving the communities of Homosassa, Beverly Hills, and Inverness, he is a part of West Florida Medical Associates. He sees patients for weight loss consultations, urinary tract infections, sleep problems, travel medicine consultations, illnesses and many other common and specific reasons. 

Educated in India, Dr. Khan earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and graduated with honors in pathology. He then came to the United States to complete his residency in family medicine at Synergy Medical Education Alliance in Saginaw, Michigan.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Professionally, Dr. Khan has done activities and volunteer experience in the following: Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine – 2005; Clinical Instructor at USF – 2004; Clinical Instructor of the PA Program at Barry University – 2012; on the Physician Improvement Committee at Citrus Memorial Hospital – 2012-2014; a Clinical Instructor for Medical Students at Michigan State University – 2004-2007; on the Physical Exams and Depression Screening at Saginaw Medical Society Health Fair- 2004-2006; and a part of the Pulse Polio Immunization Program at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College – 1994-2000; Malaria Screening and Treatment 1999; and Dormitory Resident Assistant, 1996-1998.

Committed to achieving wellness through patient education, preventative and therapeutic medicine, Dr. Khan has served as a Clinical Research Investigator at Nature Coast Clinical Research in Crystal River, Florida since 2008. 

An articulate communicator with effective presentation and interpersonal skills, he is an active member of the American Medical Association.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

On a more personal note, Dr. Khan is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi.
