Get to know Doctor of Orthopedics Dr. Richard C. Reut, who serves the population of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Richard C. Reut is a highly experienced and venerated physician, having been in practice for over twenty years and specializing in all areas of orthopedics, including injuries, non-operative fractures, and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Reut’s medical career began upon graduating with his MD from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, during which he completed his residency in Family Medicine at Cook County Hospital, as well as a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Physics from Albion College. Dr. Reut is board-certified in Medical Orthopedics, and stays current within his field as a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He currently practices with Hennepin County Medical Center. Orthopedics is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis, correction, prevention, and treatment of patients with skeletal deformities – disorders of the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves and skin. These elements make up the musculoskeletal system.
