He began his Ob/Gyn residency at the Penn State Geisinger Health System in 1995 and completed the four-year training program in 1999. Following graduation, he returned to Ohio where he joined South Central Ohio Ob/Gyn.  

He currently maintains active medical licenses in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and served as President of the organization for 5 years. He has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002 and maintains current recertification. He is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Ohio State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Additionally, he is affiliated with Clinton Memorial Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital. At Clinton Memorial Hospital, he served in a Medical Staff Leadership position in the Department of Surgery for 9 years and has been serving as Chief of Staff for the past 5 years.
