Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Wallace attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada for her undergraduate and medical education, earning her medical degree in 2004. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in general surgery at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center in 2009. She then went on to obtain further training as a fellow in surgical critical care and acute care surgery at the University of Connecticut, Hartford Hospital and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center respectively, completing her training in 2011.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified physicians who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

In her professional experience, Dr. Wallace can be found on staff at Banner Desert Medical Center, and Banner Ocotillo Medical Center. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and Mercy Medical Center in Iowa before heading to Arizona to work as a trauma surgeon in 2014.
