Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Alyssa Zwarych, who serves patients in Wesley Chapel, Florida. 

Pediatrician Dr. Zwarych is currently serving Wesley Chapel and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Florida Medical Clinic, which is a practice consisting of a team of physicians that treats patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. In addition to emphasizing preventive care to help their patients stay healthy, their primary care services include physical exams, urgent care appointments for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, cancer screenings, minor surgical procedures, routine gynecology and dermatology services, and ongoing management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and osteoporosis. 

Dr. Zwarych earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She went on to complete post graduate training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts and University of South Florida. 

In order to remain up to date in her field, Dr. Zwarych maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. During her time in the field, Dr. Zwarych has treated hundreds of patients. She was recognized and awarded as a “Top Doctor” by Tampa Magazine in 2016. 

As a pediatrician, Dr. Zwarych diagnoses and treats infections, injuries, and other diseases in children. Along with treating illnesses, she mostly spends her time in preventative health care and oversees and manages the physical, mental and emotional health of her patients. Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents.
