In the early days of her academic career, Dr. Ganguly attended and earned her medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She later completed her residency through the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. During her early medical studies, she developed a passion for cardiovascular medicine, which led to a fellowship in cardiology at the Detroit Medical Center and an additional fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Utah.
Following her education, the doctor became board-certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
